Where are my notes stored?
On your iPad. If you enable cloud backup in Settings, snapshots also go to your own iCloud Drive. Nothing is stored on our servers — we do not have any.
The fastest way to get help is support@inkline-app.com. Please include your iPad model and what you were doing when the problem happened.
How do I back up or move my notes?
Open Settings, then Backup. You can enable automatic iCloud snapshots or download a full backup file at any time.
How do I restore my purchase?
If you reinstalled Inkline or moved to a new iPad, open the unlock screen and tap Restore. The App Store restores the purchase on any iPad signed in to your Apple account.
What does the optional AI key do?
Handwriting search works on-device by default. For enhanced transcription, you can add your own OpenAI or Gemini API key in Settings. It is off by default, and pages are sent only to the provider you select and only with your consent. See the privacy policy for details.
