Inkline preserves the focus and flexibility of handwriting while making the information easier to find and act on later.
Apple Pencil handwriting is powered by PencilKit for a responsive, natural writing experience. Apple Vision recognizes handwriting directly on the device, making notebook pages searchable without sending them to a developer-operated server. Handwritten action items can also be turned into Apple Reminders through EventKit, helping users move from a meeting note to a real task without retyping it.
Inkline includes handwritten spellcheck, notebook organization, PDF export, and optional backups to the user’s own iCloud Drive. It requires no account and contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking.

Private by default
Inkline operates no developer server and includes no advertising, analytics, tracking, or account system. Core handwriting recognition runs on the iPad. Optional iCloud backups use the user’s own account. An optional third-party transcription setting is available only when a user supplies their own API key and gives consent.
